Application and use
Facial:

Other applications of Clary Sage ( Salvia Sclarea) oil:
- For perfumery purposes, Clary Sage essential oil is used in relatively small quantities, mainly in perfumery for men. It is often added to perfumes, eau de cologne, spicy scents for men, aftershaves and eau de toilette.
- It is used in cosmetics and household products (toothpaste, soaps, shampoos, deodorants, mouthwashes, air fresheners, detergent scents)
- Additionally, the oil is used as an aromizer of canned meat, marinates and liqueurs
Recipes:
Use: External
- Aroma lamps: 4 drops of Clary Sage, 2 drops of bergamot (Citrus bergamia), 1 drop of orange oil or 4 drops of Clary Sage and 4 drops of lavender. To neutralize the strong aroma of the Clary Sage, it is best to mix with rose, lavender or sandalwood oil.
- Inhalations: with mental or emotional stress – 3 drops of Clary Sage in 2l of boiling water – inhale for 10 minutes
- Bath: 5-6 drops of Clary Sage at 28-35°С for 10 min – relaxes and restores the strength
- Foot bath: for strongly perspiring feet: 3 drops of Clary Sage with 4 drops of lavender
- Sauna: 2-3 drops
- Massage: 50 ml of almond oil with 10 drops of Clary Sage – soothes and relaxes the body, helps healing processes. Foot massage – to treat stress: mix 30 ml almond oil, 15 drops of Clary Sage, 10 drops of lemon and 5 drops of lavender oil
- To treat cracked skin – anoint with mixture of 1 drop of Clary Sage and 2 spoonfuls of almond oil. Eye compress: 1 drop of Clary Sage in 1 cup of lukewarm water. To enrich shampoo: for each 10 ml of shampoo, add 3 drops of Clary Sage – stimulates hair growth
